New Community Workshop Series
In June we ran our first Community Workshop which was a huge success. Back by popular demand we’ve scheduled three more workshops covering a variety of topics.
The objective of each community workshop is to educate and share insights and knowledge about a variety of business topics. These informative workshops will be facilitated by business and marketing professionals focused on small to medium-sized businesses. We invite anyone residing, or working within our community to join us.
Wills & Estates – Everything you need to know
When: 8th August 6.00pm – 7.00pm plus Networking
Where: Lindfield Community Bank Branch – 318 Pacific Hwy, Lindfield.
Becoming well informed about wills, trusts and estate planning is necessary to secure the financial future of your loved ones.
During this one hour workshop, we will explain how to arrange your estate, prepare a will and the various ins and outs of setting up a trust specifically for a relative or loved one.
This workshop is hosted as a small group session where specific individual questions will be answered.
This workshop will provide participants with practical information on the following topics:
- Why and how to write and update a will
- Ways in which to ensure your loved one is protected when you pass away
- The types of trusts available, including the differences between discretionary and Non-discretionary, Testamentary and Inter-vivos
- The tax advantages of a testamentary trust
- Tips for finding the right lawyer for you and your family
Workshop Facilitator: Andrew Rothfield is a Principal SOlicitor at PW Lawyers specialising in estate planning, estate litigation, and family provision claims He is also highly skilled in conveyancing and property law.
Cost: $5.00 booking fee to secure your seat. All money will be divided between two charities: Killara Rural Fire Brigade, and Nutrition for School Children (via Humanitix Event Platform).

For the last few years, ZantZoo has been working with the Turramurra and Lindfield Community Bank Branches to help us to better connect with our community via a range of marketing strategies.
Cost: It is $5.00 to secure your seat at this workshop. All money raised will be split between the Studio ARTES, and the Humanitix charity of choice – Nutrition for school children.

- Strategies to reduce the probability of margin calls
