The Eye Piece is a family owned and operated boutique Optometrist located in leafy Wahroonga village operated by Paul Lee and Taeyon Kim. In November of 2017 the practice underwent renovations to become the welcoming, luxury boutique it is today. With a passion for eye health and customer satisfaction the team at The Eye Piece go above and beyond the standard expected service and pride themselves on a thorough consultation process, taking into consideration lifestyle and cosmetic needs to ensure the perfect result.

The bulk billed eye screening and eye health checks are an important part of day to day business at The Eye Piece – and appointments can be made online, via phone or by popping into the store. However, the display and range of unique frames from global brands (some of which are not available anywhere else on the North Shore) are what really sets this boutique apart from others.

Hand selecting every frame from a range of suppliers globally, The Eye Piece has a collection of high quality and fashionable frames catering to all ages and budgets. You will even find precious 18 Karat Gold frames if that’s what you’re after.

 

On Premise Lens Fitting

All lenses are edged and fitted onsite saving precious turnaround time.  And on collection, customers experience a personalised fitting and adjustment service – and receive a complimentary cleaning pack to take home.

 

Commitment to Eye Health

Their commitment to eye health stretches beyond the walls of The Eye Piece with management and staff involved in a range of not-for-profit organisations such as Lions Recycle for Sight and World Sight Day. The Eye Piece have been donating $2 from every pair of glasses sold during October directly to Optometry Giving Sight which is a global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error.

Donations help to:

• Train – local eye care professionals
• Establish – optometry schools and vision centres for sustainability
• Deliver – eye care and low-cost glasses.
